Graduated from Istanbul Technical University Department of Architecture at 1997. Received her graduate degree from ITU at 2001 with the thesis ‘An investigation of spatial interfaces into the urban life’. Started work and research in the field of landscape design. Is interested in the simultaneous and overlapping areas between architecture and landscape design of various scales. Worked at ITU Department of Landscape Design as a research assistant between 2004-2007. Has received her Ph.D. degree from ITU with the thesis ‘A critical reading of landscape design in the areas of urban regeneration’. Is a member of the MEF FADA Department of Architecture since 2014. Has worked as a visiting scholar at Berlin BAU International between 2015-2016. Is one of the founders of Anonim Istanbul where she continues working as a professional design consultant. Her research areas are public space, urban cooperatives, participatory design, permaculture, urban farming, integration of landscape design and architecture at various scales.
