He received his undergraduate degree from Istanbul Technical University (ITU) in 2005, followed by a MSc degree in 2009 in the same university. After working in offices in Istanbul and Santiago de Chile, together with Sevince Bayrak they founded SO? Architecture and Ideas in 2007. In 2009, they took part in the research project of London School of Economics with Arkitera in Urban Age conference. They won numerous awards in architectural competitions, including Young Architects Program in Istanbul Modern, in collaboration with MoMA - PS1. This project, Sky Spotting Stop, has been realized in the courtyard of Istanbul Modern in 2013 and exhibited in MoMA and MAXXI. It is also published in Architekturführer Istanbul. In 2015, they won the invited international competition by Royal Academy of Arts and Turkishceramics and their project Unexpected Hill was realized in London. His articles and projects have been published in a number of magazines including Huffington Post, Wallpaper, Dezeen, A10, Concept, Architect’s Journal. Their work, including Naturban for Urban Age 2009, Cityness, Test Tube in Rotterdam, Sky Garden in Istanbul and Unexpected Hill in London has been published internationally. They were invited to Istanbul exhibition in MAXXI with their work called Lost Barrier and the work was acquired to the permanent collection of the museum. He has lectured in various symposiums and conferences in different cities such as London, New York, Ljubljana, Florence, Rome, Graz and Bordeaux about public space. His recent work include a public cultural center in Istanbul, a chicken coop and a cabin in the rural parts of Turkey, and an interdisciplinary research project on post-disaster emergency housing
